Polychromos Pastels open up an almost inexhaustible variety of color. They contain a high proportion of acid-free light-fast quality pigments. These pastels have impressively bright colors and a fascinating silky feel. By building up successive layers of different shades, you can enhance the depth of your drawings. The colors can also be merged to form particularly delicate transitions.

Nearly all of the colors possess the maximum possible resistance to fading. They adhere well onto paper, card stock, wood and stone with minimum fixing. The square shape allows you to make a wide variety of strokes. Although they are firm they are still easily blend with finger or stump.
