Montval watercolour paper has a great erasability. It's an essential characteristic of high quality watercolour paper and Montval paper allows corrections even with just a brush loaded with water. 

Montval was designed by the famous painter Gaspard Maillol in the early 20th century and made on a Foundrinier machine. Montval is THE paper when it comes to watercolour, however it can also be used with other wet techniques such as gouache or acrylic. 

The beautiful surface allows for multiple reliefs and effects. The delicate shade, hot pressed (smooth) surface, and numerous other qualities (permanence, anti fungal treatment, acid free and without optical brightness) make this paper a classic among the Canson family of products.
